9 De Beauvoir Square is a Grade II Listed Neo-Jacobean house within the London Borough of Hackney, dating from the 1840s. The comprehensive refurbishment sensitively restores this heritage asset while introducing playful, contemporary interventions that bring the residence into modern use.

Working closely with interior designer and curator Irenie Studio, the project balances historic character with bespoke detailing that responds thoughtfully to the complexities of the original building fabric, thoughtfully preserving this heritage asset.
